I'm a regular brusher and flosser but it always builds up between my two bottom teeth because at their root they are rather far away from each other while they are pressed firmly against each other at the top, so it is hard for dentists to clean it with the pick, but I just realized that I can get it using my knife if I am very careful in a mirror and use both hands to hold the knife close to the end of the blade. It was very brittle and yellowish and underneath my teeth were shiny white! Well I got a bit compulsive and I took a very sharp knife to it and was able to scrape off a HUGE chunk of the yellow stuff. At first I was very worried about tooth damage before I realized it must be tartar, the stuff the dentist cleans off at my cleanings.
